Baby Charities
We at jellybabys believe that charity starts at home.
Once a year we give to three of our favourite United Kingdon charities, even small amounts will go a long way.
So if you too would like to give a donation, below you will find some details about the charities we support and links to their sites.
Tommy's charity

We believe every baby deserves the best start in life. We are committed to funding medical research and providing information to help more mums and dads through a healthy pregnancy and birth.
One in five pregnancies ends in miscarriage
Over 100,000 women lose their babies each year and the cause is often unknown. This high rate has remained the same since the 1930s.
One in 200 babies is stillborn
Although this rate is falling there is still no clear medical reason given for over half of all stillbirths.
100 babies are born too small or too soon in the UK each day
One in ten of these babies will die or develop serious permanent disabilities.

Children in Need Appeal

Nine-year-old Sammy wasn't wanted by his mother and was sent to live with his father. His father uses and deals drugs and is part of a Brixton drug gang. He has been violent towards Sammy and beaten him.
Sammy is left to come and go as he pleases and wears his door key around his neck. Kids Company is an organisation supported by Children in Need that looks after vulnerable children like Sammy. When the organisation intervened, the beatings by his father stopped.
Kids Company also introduced Sammy to a female staff member to listen to him and look after his needs, and give him some of the special warmth and attention that other children might receive from a mother.
When Sammy first came to Kids Company he used to bully and fight other children and was lonely and unhappy. His problems are by no means over, but he has calmed down significantly and appears to be a much less troubled little boy.
Every child has their own story, and this is just one example of the kind of problem kids could be facing. All the children we help deserve your support and your money really does help. Even the smallest amount can make a vital difference. Please make an extra special effort and help us to do them proud.
