Romantic HolidayThere are as many romantic hideaways as there are couples that need the escape. Where would you go for a romantic holiday? You should probably discuss this with your significant other to make sure you both have a similar destination in mind. Unless you want to take separate vacations but that would take most of the romance out of it.

What factors go into choosing the perfect spot for a romantic holiday? Cost always is at the head of the list or close to it. Few of us have unlimited funds for trip. Take out pen and pad and decide how much you can spend. Remember, the idea is to have some quality time with you lover in a special setting. Don’t allow yourself to overspend and have your getaway become the reason the two of you broke up! Be reasonable and have a guilt free excursion.

How much time do you have to spend on this holiday? Knowing this will determine how much of your holiday you want to spend getting from one place to another. If all you can spare from your work schedule is one day, don’t despair. You can bring the romance with you to almost any location. Check out the local bed and breakfast inns or travel to the next town where no one knows you. Leave your cell phone at home or turned off.

If you’re traveling internationally, your holiday will take more planning. Passports may need to be in order, plane tickets booked well in advance. This could well be worth it if your dream has been to have dinner in Los Angeles and you currently live in London.

Would you like to go on a hot air safari in Africa? Make reservations and check the weather predictions. The fierce heat of the summer months may wilt your valentine. Have you always nursed a secret desire to travel on the Orient Express? Many people have this same dream and you may have to book your space months in advance. If you both love chocolate, consider taking the Chocolate Train that travels from the Swiss Riviera to Gruyeres. Make sure your companion isn’t allergic or doesn’t care for the taste of chocolate.

Does your idea of romance include adventure and physical challenge? Mountain climbing, hang gliding, or bungee jumping might be right up your alley. Hiking down into the Grand Canyon to camp under the stars will make some couples very happy. Niagara Falls is a traditional honeymoon spot. Enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls from either the American or Canadian sides or take a ride on the Maid of the Mists and see what the falls look like from the water.

Plan your romantic holiday around a shared interest or hobby. A comic book convention might not be every couple’s idea of ambiance but if you both love the idea who cares what anyone else is doing? Muscle cars, wine tasting, flower shows, or hiking the Oregon Trail, do it together. Book a weekend in a casino in Italy, or swing by Scotland just to taste the national drink.

Scenery is great and luxurious accommodations are wonderful, but it’s the feeling you have for your partner that will make your trip the most romantic time you’ve had together or not. Should life trip up your plans for a romantic holiday, don’t let that stop you. With a little imagination and a sense of humor you can transform even the most humble sofa into the ‘couch of a thousand desires.”

If you are going through your first pregnancy, you likely find yourself having many questions. Indeed, you likely find yourself facing different questions each and every day. One common question that a woman who is pregnant for the first time often finds herself asking is whether or not she should have sex while pregnant.

The simple, and more general, answer regarding sex during pregnancy is that it is just fine. Certainly during the first two trimesters of a pregnancy, there generally is no reason why a pregnant woman cannot have sexual intercourse.

With that said, each individual woman will have different physical considerations to take into consideration when having intercourse while pregnant. By this it is meant that some positions may not be comfortable for the woman when it comes to sexual intercourse during pregnancy. Therefore, and with that in mind, it is important for the woman and her partner to be able to adapt and adjust to ensure that the most comfortable position for intercourse while in the first two trimesters of a pregnancy.

Beyond the first two trimesters, there are some cases in which a doctor may recommend holding off on intercourse. However, in most cases, a woman can continue to have intercourse with her partner at least partially into the final trimester. Ultimately what does tend to happen is that eventually during the latter part of a pregnancy, managing intercourse becomes less than comfortable.

There are also certain situations in which a woman may be facing some sort of complication during pregnancy. In such a situation, a doctor may recommend against intercourse. If that is the case, it is important for a woman to follow her doctor’s advice and refrain from intercourse.

There is a so-called old wives tale that intercourse can harm an unborn baby. In reality, intercourse is not even likely to disturb even a baby in the third trimester. The concept that sexual intercourse (particularly the insertion of a penis into a pregnant woman’s vagina) is merely a myth perpetuated by people who simply have not properly educated themselves.

If you desire more information about sex during pregnancy, there are now a number of very helpful resource books on the market today. These books can provide you with all of the information that you will need in order to understand the points you need to ponder when it comes to sex during pregnancy.

Moreover, if you do have any question in regard to sex and pregnancy, you should consult with your doctor. You need to assure yourself that your doctor has heard every imaginable question pertaining to sex and pregnancy well before you became pregnant. Thus, your doctor will be able to address any of the questions that you might have at any time during your pregnancy.

Planning a Romantic Birthday

If you are the parent of young children, that does not mean that you do not want to keep the romantic fires well kindled between you and your significant other. In this regard, one step that you can take to keep the romance alive in your relationship that now includes children is planning a romantic birthday celebration for your significant other.

Your loved one is getting a year older. You want to do something special for him or her. But, you may find yourself frustrated when trying to come up with ideas for a romantic birthday. In this article, we share with you a few thoughts on ideas for a romantic birthday.

Of course, in the final analysis, the key to finding the perfect ideas for a romantic birthday rests on making a determination about what your loved one really likes to do, what he or she really enjoys. The combination of both spending time doing what he or she loves to do and undertaking that activity with you is what makes ideas for a romantic birthday perfect.

And, of course, ideas for a romantic birthday are all a matter of personal taste. What might be romantic for one person can be the exact opposite for another. Thus, our suggestions in this article regarding ideas for a romantic birthday are necessarily general and basic.

First of all, in many ways, nothing is quite as romantic as a special evening at home. And, by this we do not mean just a plain old, dull and boring, routine night around the house. Consider preparing or obtaining a truly special meal, served by candlelight, with soft, lovely music playing in the background. Perhaps dinner could be followed up by a favorite film.

Second of all, a surprise evening with the one you love celebrating his or her birthday at a nicely situated bed and breakfast inn can be a wonderful plan for a romantic birthday celebration. Most bed and breakfast inns are cozy, warm and the perfect place for a couple to spend a quick, romantic break from the real world hustle and bustle.

Third, in nearly every community in the world there is to be found a quaint restaurant favored by the one you love. A romantic dinner for two — with a perfectly selected bottle of wine — makes for a memorable occasion to be sure.

By making sure that you continue to keep special events special and romantic, you will develop and even deeper and more meaningful relationship with your significant other – today and into the future as well.
